Rose Cut Opal Gemstones

Description

Natural rose cut Ethiopian opal for jewellery making and stone setting (13ct Lot).

Beautiful all natural (no dye) rose cut Ethiopian opal rose cuts.  Please note, this is a fragile stone, if you are not an experienced stone setter, it is recommended that you bezel set these using fine silver of 22kt gold bezel wire, and under no circumstances do you want lumps or bumps of solder inside the bezel setting.

This is a pack of mixed sizes (approximately 10-15mm ) and shape Ethiopian opal rose cut gemstones. The stones will be similar to those pictured, but you will not be receiving the exact parcel. The exact sizes and shapes of the stones WILL differ from those pictured!  We have included images of a selection of the packs we will be sending out, to give you an idea on the quality. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and the fact that we want to keep the prices as low as possible, we can’t offer parcels of specific stones, but I personally vetted every parcel.

The opals here are relatively eye clean, although there may be some inclusions visible through a loupe.  The gemstones are relatively low profile and so care will be needed when setting.

We will ship from our studio in Malaysia within 4 working days. Parcels are expected to take around two to three weeks to arrive if you live in major cities in the US or UK, but they can take longer for the rest of the world and remote locations. While we ship everything via DHL Express, we cannot guarantee that shipments will arrive within any time frame, but please do contact us if you haven’t received your parcel after 6 weeks and we’ll happily look into it.
